DMCA & Copyright Policy

1. Introduction
Sphot respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. This policy addresses copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India). If you believe that content made available through our Service infringes your copyright, please follow the procedures below.
2. Filing a Takedown Notice
To submit a copyright infringement notification, send a written notice to our Copyright Agent at dmca@sphot.one containing all of the following:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- A description of the material you claim is infringing and its location on the Service (URL or sufficient detail to locate it)
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
We will process valid notices promptly and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material.
3. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@sphot.one containing:
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to jurisdiction of courts in your location or in Bangalore, Karnataka, India
- Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed material within 10–14 business days unless the original complainant files a court action.
4. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and our Terms of Service, we will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of third-party intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to make this determination at our sole discretion.
