What Is Batch Creation?
Batch creation lets you trigger the production pipeline for multiple Reels at once. Instead of running a schedule one Reel at a time, you can produce up to 10 Reels in a single batch run.
This is useful for:
- Building a 1–2 week content buffer
- Launching a product campaign with multiple angles
- Producing content in bulk during a footage-rich event
How to Start a Batch
- Go to Dashboard → Create → Batch
- Select your footage source (Drive folder or local upload)
- Choose how many Reels to produce (2–10)
- Select a production mode (or use Auto)
- Confirm and start
The pipeline runs all jobs concurrently on the cloud render node. A 10-Reel batch typically completes in 15–30 minutes.
Approval in Batch Mode
When the batch completes, each Reel appears in the approval queue sequentially. You review and approve or reject each one before it's published.
If you've enabled auto-approve, all approved Reels are published immediately. Consider enabling a staggered publish under Batch Settings — this spreads the publish times across your configured intervals to avoid flooding your feed.
Footage Requirements for Batch
Each Reel in a batch uses different source clips to avoid duplication. Sphot automatically segments your footage pool and assigns non-overlapping clips to each Reel.
For a 10-Reel batch, we recommend at least 15–20 minutes of source footage in your Drive folder. The system will flag the batch if the footage pool is insufficient.
Plan Limits
Batch creation is available on all plans. Your plan's monthly Reel limit applies to batch production:
- Starter — 15 Reels/month (max batch of 5 if mid-month)
- Creator — 30 Reels/month
- Studio — 75 Reels/month
- Scale — Unlimited
Remaining monthly capacity is shown in the batch creation flow before you confirm.
