Overview
Sphot supports four production modes. Each runs the same 19-stage pipeline with different parameters for pacing, script structure, music, and visual treatment.
You set a default mode per schedule and can override it for individual production runs.
Auto
The system selects the best mode for your footage using:
- Content category from your Brand Kit
- Footage motion intensity
- Source audio analysis
- Historical engagement data
Use Auto when your content is varied or you're unsure which mode fits best.
Montage
Fast-cut, music-forward edits. Best for:
- Fitness and sports
- Travel and adventure
- Food preparation
- High-energy product reveals
Clips are selected for dynamic motion. Cuts are timed to the music beat. Colour grade is contrast-boosted.
Narrative
Story-structured edits with voiceover. Best for:
- Tutorials and how-tos
- Personal stories
- Educational content
- Product demonstrations
The AI-generated script drives clip selection. Subtitles are always enabled. Pacing is slower and more deliberate.
Cinematic
Aesthetic-first edits for premium brand content. Best for:
- Real estate
- Fashion and luxury
- Portfolio showcases
- Brand mood pieces
Prioritises your most visually striking frames. Ambient music. Minimal text overlay. Film-grade colour LUT applied.
Setting a Default Mode
- Go to Schedule → Edit Schedule
- Under Production Settings, select your default mode

You can also change the mode for a single run from the Production Runs view before triggering.
